Compute as a Service

FAQ

What equipment runs the Compute as a Service for NCShare?

Today we have 12 compute nodes, each with two AMD EPYC™ 7543 CPUs and 512GB of RAM. Currently we have four dedicated to containerized course projects and eight for slurm compute scheduling. Everything is networked with 10Gb and 25Gb connections. We have five smaller nodes which support web applications and scheduling. These use AMD Epyc 7313P cpus and 128GB of RAM. We also have a dedicated perfSONAR appliance and a TrueNAS storage server.
